A low-salt warning does not always mean the pool needs more salt, and a no-flow or low-output message does not automatically mean the cell is dead. We compare the controller, cell condition, circulation, water testing, and operating history before recommending cleaning, repair, or replacement.

Sometimes. The right approach depends on the manufacturer guidance, severity, and cell condition. Excessive or unnecessary acid cleaning can shorten cell life.
